6 Ways to Create a Dream Bridal Suite

No words for how my big day came together… IT WAS PERFECT! In today’s post, I’m sharing 6 easy ways that you can create your dream bridal suite. My suite was by far one of my favorite parts of the wedding day and made for such a great area to take photos!

1. Display Your Dress

Now, you’ve already spent sooo much on your perfect dress, you might as well put it on display. We bought this gorgeous black mannequin to but my dress on. It was the perfect stand to have to photograph my dress and add to the overall aesthetic of the room.

2. Add Some Balloons

Okay, come on now. Balloons are a must!

Helpful tip: stick to white or your wedding colors. White will always be the classic color for the traditional bride, and that is what I chose here. But, your wedding colors would be a great option too! When you think about your wedding album in its entirety, if you keep your bridal suite and balloon colors on theme, all of your photos will come back cohesive.

3. Buffet Bar

When talking to my mom and sisters to get their help with my suite set up, I was very clear on a few things… CHICK-FIL-A TOWER is a must. We used the acrylic cupcake stands from Amazon and filled it with Chick-fil-A chicken minis. It was an absolute hit.

Be sure that you set up your breakfast/buffet bar with all of your favorites so that the wedding party and graze on food during the day to be ready for the party later that night. We supplemented the buffet bar with other breakfast fruits, mimosas, muffins and other goodies.

We were sure to order enough so that our vendors (makeup artist, hairstylist, photographer and videographer) could nibble with us too!

4. Set Up the Perfect Makeup Station

If you have room in your suite, set up a great makeup station for you and your girls to get ready. Key tips here is a large table for all of your products and great lighting! When looking for great lighting, windows are always perfect, but also feel free to add a few ring lights to ensure you are achieving your perfect look!

5. Have the Proper Get Ready Attire

As part of my gift to my bridesmaids, I got everyone matching robes from Amazon. The wedding party uniform makes for a perfect bridal suite aesthetic.

All of my bridesmaids got matching champagne colored robes (went with the wedding color theme) and my mom and mother-in-law got matching black robes. I went with a gorgeous feathered robe from Etsy.

6. Designate a Clean Up Crew

Last but not least, don’t forget to assign a few gals to be responsible for final clean up for the room. My girls were great and were sure to help pick up along the way, but considering the bridal suite was where my husband and I would be staying after the wedding, we of course didn’t want it to look like a room that a whole bunch of girls just got ready in.

Key things to make sure are in order:

  • Food packed away
  • Bed made up
  • Everyone’s personal belongings back to their rooms (or just another room)
